The Feelies celebrating 50th anniversary with 2 NJ shows (only 2026 dates)

New Jersey legends The Feelies are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year with two NJ shows which they say will be their only live dates in 2026. They happen at Jersey City’s White Eagle Hall on May 22 & 23.

Both shows are special: Friday, May 22 will have them playing their 1986 album, The Good Earth, in full alongside lots of other songs in honor of its 40th anniversary, and will also feature a tribute to filmmaker Jonathan Demme, whose breakthrough Something Wild (which The Feelies are in) also turns 40 this year. On Saturday, May 23, they will play their classic debut album Crazy Rhythms in its entirety along with other favorites.

Tickets for Night 1 and Night 2, as well as two-day passes, go on sale today (March 4) at 12 PM.

The Feelies don’t really tour, and it’s even rarer to find them playing outside of the East Coast. Fans fly from all over the world to their shows, which are usually marathon sets that include lots of covers alongside their own classics. They’re always worth seeing and and any chance to do so should not be missed!
