UK ambient/postrock/shoegaze greats Seefeel returned in 2024 with the Squared Roots mini-LP and have now announced Sol.Hz., their first album in 15 years, which will be out May 1 via their longtime label home, Warp.
Bandleader Mark Clifford is the primary architect of the new album, with contributions from singer/guitarist Sarah Peacock. You can get a feel for this one via “Ever No Way” which floats along the ether while blasts of sub-bass fire into the depths of the ocean and Peacock’s vocals swirl gently. It’s all very Seefeel and you can listen below.
Seefeel will be on tour in Europe in the spring, and those dates are below.
