The Stray Cats have announced fall North American tour dates which kick off October 25 in Mount Pleasant, MI and wrap November 30 in Wheatland, CA. It’s the original lineup of the band: Brian Setzer, Slim Jim Phantom, and Lee Rocker, All dates are listed below.
The tour includes an NYC-area show at Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on November 9 and tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, August 1 at 10 AM local time.
This will Brian Setzer’s first live shows — Stray Cats or otherwise — since being diagnosed with auto-immune disease at the start of the year when he revealed “I cannot play guitar. There is no pain, but it feels like I am wearing a pair of gloves when I try to play.” A month later, Setzer posted an update on his recovery, writing, “I just want to let you all know that I’m getting better day by day. The progress I’m making is excellent! My dream is to visit Japan, the States, and Europe with Stray Cats, and of course, one of my biggest thrills would be bringing back the BSO Christmas show tradition.”
