Reunited Texas emo band Oakwood have announced a new album, Blurred Away, due out May 29 via Memory Music. It follows their 2015 EP Summer, and it was recorded with Phil Odom and mastered by Will Yip. See the cover art and tracklist below.
Blurred Away includes “Footnote,” their first music in a decade that they released in October, and they’ve shared another new single, “A Tangled Mess,” which pairs twinkly guitars with Mat Dwyer’s impassioned shouts. Hear both tracks below.
Oakwood are playing Sound & Fury in August, and they have a home city show before that at Austin’s Mohawk on May 29, which is with Dead Butterflies, Nervous, and Alwaysneverstays.
