New film Tron: Ares had its premiere on Monday night at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Outside the theater Nine Inch Nails performed four songs from their soundtrack to the film, playing “Alive As You Need Me To Be” and giving “Forked reality” and “Shadow Over Me” their live debuts. They also played “The Warning” from 2007’sYear Zero.
With them was Boys Noize, who co-produced the soundtrack, and they were in the Nine Inch Noize formation that anyone who saw NIN’s recent Peel It Back tour will recognize. Watch footage from the premiere below.
Tron: Ares is in theaters starting Friday, October 10. The soundtrack is out now.
Nine Inch Nails and Boize Noize have more Peel It Back tour dates in 2026, and they’re doing a collaborative Nine Inch Noize set at Coachella.
