French duo Air recently wrapped up the North and South American legs of their genuinely dazzling Moon Safari tour, and along the way they had a few guests join them. In NYC, Phoenix’s Thomas Mars came out to sing “Playground Love” from Moon Safari (he sang on the studio version under the name Gordon Tracks) at both Beacon Theatre shows. In Miami, MGMT‘s Andrew VanWyngarden joined them to sing “Playground Love,” and Air have just shared pro-shot video of that.
Andrew brings an extra-breathy sultriness to his vocal performance and it’s a great rendition. The video incorporates footage from the whole Air show, with all its magical properties. Watch that below.
Air head to Asia and Australia soon, and have a few dates lined up for 2025, including four nights at Paris’ Salle Pleyel. All dates are listed below.
