After sharing his first two songs in five and a half years, “End of Summer” and “Loser”, Tame Impala (aka Kevin Parker) has announced his fifth album, Deadbeat, due out on October 17 via Columbia. It’s the follow-up to 2020’s The Slow Rush, and according to the press release, it’s inspired by bush doof culture and the Western Australia rave scene. He hasn’t revealed the tracklist yet, but you can see the cover art below.
We have a limited edition, numbered cassette of Deadbeat, exclusive to the BV shop, where it’s available for pre-order now. Pick up yours while they last, and watch the videos for “End of Summer” and “Loser” below.
