Madonna joins the many musicians speaking out since Donald Trump was elected president. In her Instagram stories, she posted a picture of a cake that says “FUCK TRUMP” on it, followed by a second story that reads: “Trying to get my head around why a convicted felon, rapist, bigot was chosen to lead our country because he’s good for the economy?”
Madonna previously endorsed Kamala Harris, and she’s been vocally anti-Trump for years. In 2017, she spoke at the Women’s March on Washington and said, “Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House,” and changed the lyrics of “Human Nature” to “Donald Trump, suck a dick” while performing it. In 2019, she called for the impeachment of Trump.
