Iceage have announced their sixth album, For Love of Grace & the Hereafter, which will be out May 29 via Mexican Summer. It’s the Danish band’s first in five years and was self-produced at Sweden’s Silence Studios where they made 2014’s Plowing Into the Fields of Love.
“The songs needed to be immediate, urgent, raw, and fast,” frontman Elias Rønnenfelt says of the album. “We wanted to try to shed any unnecessary weight. Catching outlets of energy is what excites us the most.”
The album includes their great single from earlier this year, “Star,” and they’ve just shared new single “Ember” which is a real ripper. Watch video for below.
