Riot Fest returns to Chicago’s Douglass Park starting on Friday (9/20), and the festival has now announced RiotLand, a series of immersive experiences that will happen alongside the five stages of music. Here’s more from them about what it includes:

“Step into an unparalleled, idiosyncratic world, a true celebration of all things Riot Fest. Fans will journey to the Cabaret Metro main stage alongside the festival’s take on the Hollywood sign, a Joliet Correctional Facility Bus worthy of the Blues Brothers, a full scale replica of the Quick-Stop Groceries a la Kevin Smith’s “Clerks” (Smith’s Chronic Con hits Chicago on Oct. 11) and the infamous Butter Stamos statue. RiotLand is a celebration of independent music, art, sports and food, the cultural assets that make Chicago a richer place, now viewable in an animated, interactive map, the first of its kind from a music festival. Expect visits to the Riot Fest Historical Society in collaboration with the Punk Rock Museum (whose facade will be a recreation of Fireside Bowl), live wrestling in partnership with Billy Corgan’s NWA Wrestling, a signature Skate Ramp (Collaboration with Uprise Skate shop and Art Department Skate Co), the Hellzapoppin Circus Sideshow Revue, a fully functioning Logan Arcade, a Chicago White Sox merch collaboration, Strip-o-rama Burlesque Tent (featuring Danielle Colby from American Pickers), mural work throughout (artists include Joe Sky, Pancho, Birdmilk and Neen) and a Wedding Chapel ready to add to the 150+ weddings that have taken place at Riot Fest over the years. This is just the beginning for RiotLand, which will be ongoing annually and growing in scope and theme. Watch out for next year when Riot Fest turns 20.”

As for the music, Friday’s lineup is headlined by Fall Out Boy and also features The Offspring (playing Smash for its 30th anniversary), NOFX, Public Enemy, The Marleys (Ziggy, Stephen, Julian, Ky-Mani, and Damian playing Bob Marley) Sum 41, Cypress Hill, New Found Glory, Hot Mulligan, State Champs, Circle Jerks, The Exploited, Spiritual Cramp, Poison The Well, Winona Fighter, The Lawrence Arms, Action/Adventure, ALL, The Chisel, Home Front, and more.

Saturday’s lineup is headlined by Beck and Pavement, and also includes NOFX, St. Vincent, Bright Eyes, Manchester Orchestra (playing Cope for its 10th anniversary), Taking Back Sunday, HEALTH, The Hives, Basement, Spoon, Beach Bunny, Waxahatchee, Buzzcocks, Descendents, Clutch, Sweet Pill, Lagwagon, The Dead Milkmen, Drug Church, Heart Attack Man, Brutus, L.S. Dunes, Sincere Engineer, D.O.A., Dillinger Four, Codefendants, The Armed, Princess Goes, and more.

Sunday’s lineup is headlined by Slayer, and also has Rob Zombie, NOFX, Sublime, Dr. Dog, Tierra Whack, Lamb Of God, Suicidal Tendencies, Mastodon (playing Leviathan for its 25th anniversary), Pennywise, Slaughter Beach, Dog, Jhariah, Something Corporate, GEL, Sunami, The Vandals, Strung Out, GWAR, Cursive, SPRINTS, Laura Jane Grace + Catbite (playing an Operation Ivy covers set), Fiddlehead, and more.
