NO PRESSURE – 2026 LP PROMO
No Pressure, the hardcore-adjacent pop punk band led by The Story So Far’s Parker Cannon, have a new Jon Markson-produced album coming in 2026 via Triple B/Streets of Hate. They’re prefacing it with this two-song promo.

DARI BAY – “INTERSTATE”
Dari Bay (Zack James of Robber Robber and Unknown Mortal Orchestra) has signed to Double Double Whammy and shared their first single for the label, “Interstate.” It’s off the expanded reissue of 2023’s Longest Day of the Year, out digitally today and on vinyl on January 23. “‘Interstate’ is sort of a prototype for Longest Day of the Year, I think it was one of my first attempts at writing pop-leaning music that felt somewhat successful,” they say. “And lyrically I suppose it fits the theme of the album. It’s a love song that’s also a car song.”

RECOLLECTION – “LOVER’S QUARREL”
We just named Recollection’s (mem Rude Awakening, Haywire, Criminal Instinct, etc) “Less Is More” one of the best punk songs of October and here’s another new song off their debut EP Vivid Dreams, which arrives this Friday (11/7) via Pop Wig. This one’s kinda Drug Church-y, and it’s another good one.

H. PRUZ – “AFTER ALWAYS”
h. pruz’s second album Red sky at morning arrives this Friday (11/7) via Mtn. Laurel, and they’ve shared a final advance single, “After Always.” It’s “a song exploring what comes after the possibility of forever with a person,” they say. “The video was extremely fun to make. My cousin, Molly Schenkenberger, directed the short going off of a concept we both had dreamt up, largely inspired by The Wickerman (1973). When I think about finality, I often think about fire, and it was fun to reimagine these masked figures on a final dance and march to a similar type of end.”

BEN QUAD – “VERY BIG IN SHEBOYGAN”
OKC emo band Ben Quad have shared another taste of their anticipated sophomore album Wisher, and this one’s another example of Ben Quad putting their twist on 2000s-style emo-pop.

ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER – “CHERRY BLUE”

JIMMY EAT WORLD – “FAILURE”
Jimmy Eat World compiled some recent singles and other odds and ends for a new EP called Something(s) Loud, including the newly-released “Failure,” which was recorded during the sessions for 2019’s Surviving. Read more about it here.
