So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.

Indie folk singer Haley Heynderickx has shared a bare-bones, bluesy new track from her upcoming album Seed of a Seed.

DUCKS LTD — “GRIM SYMMETRY”
“’Grim Symmetry’ is actually one of our older songs,” says Ducks Ltd guitarist/vocalist Tom McGreevy. “We wrote it early on in the ‘Modern Fiction’ writing process, and the demo was a favorite among the people we shared those with, but we didn’t quite get it right when we tried to record it for that album. We always liked it though, so we kept it around and tried it again when we were tracking ‘Harm’s Way.’ It didn’t end up quite fitting the vibe of the album, but we did manage to get it to where we wanted it to be, so it’s exciting to finally share it.”

KATRINA FORD (CELEBRATION) – “WORLD ON A WIRE”
Celebration singer Katrina Ford releases her new solo album H.E.A.R.T. on November 1 and latest single “World on a Wire” is a synthy, woozy ballad.

WUSSY – “SURE AS THE SUN”
“What I write about has always been more or less a mystery to me but I suppose it’s about raging against what’s coming, trying to stay relevant, acknowledging your friends and loved ones and giving folks the benefit of the doubt until they prove to be dicks,” says Chuck Clever of long-running indie rock vets Wussy about the band’s new song. “Even though it has a downward tone I consider it to be one of my more hopeful songs. As hopeful as I get anyway.” Wussy’s new album Cincinnati Ohio is out November 15.

JULIA LOGAN – “MOODSWINGS”
Singer-songwriter Julia Logan, who splits her time between Stockholm and Southern California, will release her second album, Faraway Nearby, on November 1. Check out the delicate, baroque single “Moodswings.”

ARTHUR AHBEZ & THE FLAMING AHBEZ – “SISTER”
“I remember writing “Sister” sometime around 2013,” says New Zealand singer-songwriter Arthur Ambez. “I was in my cottage, and I suddenly got a bout of moxie and wanted to sing something like Buffy Sainte-Marie would—loud, wailing, and with soul. I struck to two chords (which basically make up the whole song) and let rip. What I ended up with is ‘Sister,’ a kind of absurd song, a song about murder and jealousy, abandonment, unconditional love, and indifference.” Arthur Ahbez & The Flaming Ahbez will be out November 8.

BRENNAN WEDL – “HEARTLAND”
Nashville singer-songwriter Brennan Wedl depicts “a long-winded divorce from the perspective of an adult child in Middle America” on this new single. She adds “This visceral narrative of a dysfunctional family is inspired by the barebones storytelling heard in “’My Father’s House’ by Bruce Springsteen. The blunt and emotional delivery is relatable to just about anyone who grew up in a family unit.”

GLEEMER – “THE BODY’S WORTH”
Gleemer’s new album End of the Nail comes out December 6 via Other People Records, and here’s the shoegazy alt-rock of new single “The Body’s Worth.”

STATESIDE – “JULIET HAS A GUN (NOT A SONG)”
Hardcore-adjacent pop punks Stateside just released their first EP for Pure Noise, Songs To Remember You By, featuring their two recent singles and this new one.

INGROWN – “ENEMY”
Boise metalcore ass-kickers Ingrown have dropped a new single via Closed Casket Activities.

WINONA FIGHTER – “ATTENTION”
Nashville pop punks Winona Fighter have announced their debut album, My Apologies To The Chef, due February 14 via Rise Records. Along with the announcement comes this anthemic new single.

ISABELLA LOVESTORY – “PUCHICA”
Reggaeton/neoperreo singer Isabella Lovestory has confirmed that a new album is “coming soon,” and she shared this new single. She says, “Puchica is fun, silliness, carefree attitude. I wanted the song to encapsulate that rebellious sassy feeling you get then you say it; it’s not as harsh and negative as exclaiming “puta,” but still has that mischievous c*nty attitude. Naturally, the song is about winning the lottery of “the pussy of the day” and exclaiming “Puchica” once trying it. “Puchica” is “Puta’s” naughty younger sister, carefree, lucky and wants everyone to see her with makeup still intact at sunrise.”

Canadian metallic hardcore band Mile End dropped a chuggy new song via New Morality Zine.

BENJAMIN BOOKER – “LWA IN THE TRAILER PARK” (prod. KENNY SEGAL)
Blues rocker Benjamin Booker has announced his first album in seven years, Lower, which was produced by frequent billy woods/Armand Hammer collaborator Kenny Segal. Read more about the album and this lead single here.

French art pop musician Oklou has shared two new singles, “Harvest Sky” and “Obvious,” the former of which features shapeshifting electronic popster underscores. Read more here.

CYMANDE – “CHASING AN EMPTY DREAM”
British funk legends Cymande have announced new album Renascence which will be out January 31 via BMG. It will be their first album since 2015’s A Simple Act of Faith (which was their first album since 1981’s Arrival). Here’s the first single.

ARNY MARGRET – “I MISS YOU, I DO”
Icelandic singer-songwriter Arny Margret has announced new album I Miss You, I Do, which will be out March 7 via One Little Independent. She at studios in New York City, North Carolina, Colorado and Reykjavik, collaborating with producers Josh Kaufman, Andrew Berlin, Brad Cook, and Guðmundur “Kiddi” Kristinn Jónsson. COCOROSIE – “LEAST I HAVE YOU”
Cocorosie, aka sisters Bianca and Sierra Casady, are celebrating their 20th anniversary as a musical duo and have just announced they’ve signed to indie label Joyful Noise. They’re in the studio now working on their first album for the label (and first in five years) and while details of that have not been revealed, they have just shared a new single.
