Paramount+’s three-part docuseries Lolla: The Story of Lollapalooza is out May 21, and they’ve just dropped the trailer for it. It features festival founder Perry Farrell, plus Chance the Rapper, Flea, Trent Reznor, Ice-T, Tom Morello, Lars Ulrich, Vernon Reid, and more, and you can watch below.
Directed by Michael John Warren (Jay-Z’s Fade to Black), the docuseries tracks the creation of Perry Farrell’s touring festival, which took a wide range of alt-rock, hip hop, punk, and metal on the road from 1991-1997, as well as when it came back in 2003 and then became a standalone Chicago festival, and then added other locations.
