The “emo revival” revival continues with the debut album from Las Vegas band The Ritornello Form, who sound straight out of the ‘90s Midwest emo era and/or the late 2000s revival of that era, and they’re already fully immersed in the current scene of second-wave-style true believers. Their vocalist Abby Walker also drums in Vegas screamo band Febuary, and they’ve recently shared bills with First Day Back, Febuary, Cash Only Tonys, Holidays in United States, and others in that world. Their debut album Majority Rule came out yesterday with nine songs (including one that also appeared on last year’s split with Stella), and you can hear it below.
The Ritornello Form will support the album on what they’re calling their “first full length headline tour,” which begins on July 12 in Los Angeles, hits NYC’s Trans Pecos on July 28, and runs through August 5 in Flagstaff, AZ.
