STURGILL SIMPSON
Sturgill Simpson is taking his Johnny Blue Skies alter-ego on the Why Not? tour this year and has added a couple more dates to it, including stops in Huntsville, AL and Huntington, WV. The NYC show is at Forest Hills Stadium on October 19.
SQUEEZE / THE ENGLISH BEAT
Squeeze are on tour this summer, including dates with Boy George (like at Summerstage in Central Park on September 17), and they’ve just added a few more US/Canadian shows, most of which will be with The English Beat. Those dates include Nashville, Indianapolis, Chicago, Toronto and more.
BOB MOULD
Bob Mould has announced solo tour dates that have him out in New England, the Midwest, and the Southeast this fall, where fans can expect lots of new songs (and lots of favorites).
THE BETHS
The Beths will be back in North America in late summer, starting with West Coast dates with Alvvays and then headline shows across the rest of the US and Canada. They’ve just added a couple more shows at the end of the tour before they head back to New Zealand.
PHISH RIVIERA MAYA 2025
Phish announced the return of their festival/vacation Riviera Maya for its eighth annual edition.
THE CULT
The Cult are plotting a big 40th anniversary tour that kicks off in July in Europe; while a full North American leg hasn’t been announced yet, they will be over for a few early fall West Coast shows starting September 21 in Salem, OR and then hitting Auburn, WA before five California shows in Redding, Paso Robles, Lincoln, Highland, and Valley Center. Before that they’ve got a few Canadian shows and all dates are here.
MILWAUKEE METAL FEST 2025
With Milwaukee Metal Fest 2024 in the rear view, organizers have announced dates for 2025, happening May 16 – 18 with a pre-party happening May 15. Early bird tickets are on sale now.
EAGLES AT SPHERE
Eagles have added more dates to their residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere on November 1, 2, 8 and 9. That’s in addition to the eight shows previously announced happening between September 20 – October 19. Tickets for all dates are here.
THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN
The Dillinger Escape Plan have announced the full, very stacked lineup for their Chicago reunion / Calculating Infinity 25th anniversary show.
CANDY
Richmond hardcore band Candy are fresh off releasing their great, industrial-infused third album It’s Inside You, and now they’ve announced a headlining tour in support of it.
JULIEN BAKER
After keeping extremely busy on the road as one third of boygenius last year, Julien Baker hasn’t been doing much touring in 2024, but that’s about to change. She’s announced what she says are her only shows of the year.
CLAIRE ROUSAY
claire rousay released her new album sentiment back in April via Thrill Jockey, and she’s announced some fall shows supporting it.
THE SOFTIES
Indiepop greats The Softies (Rose Melberg and Jen Sbragia) have announced their fourth album, The Bed I Made, which is also the duo’s first in 24 years. They’ll also tour this fall.
NATHY PELUSO
Argentine-Spanish singer Nathy Peluso has announced her first-ever US tour, with stops at Fillmore Miami Beach, DC’s 9:30 Club, Brooklyn Paramount, Chicago’s The Vic, and LA’s The NoVo. Tickets go on sale Friday (6/21). Nathy is fresh off releasing her sophomore album Grasa, which features Blood Orange, C. Tangana, Duki, and more.
BAD RELIGION
Having recently finished a co-headlining tour with Social Distortion and an appearance at the classic-punk filled lineup of No Values, punk lifers and road warriors Bad Religion have announced they’ll tour North America again this fall, hitting even more cities they missed last time.
HURRAY FOR THE RIFF RAFF
Hurray for the Riff Raff will be on tour this summer supporting their fantastic new album The Past Is Still Alive, and they’ve added a new NYC show.
WARM LOVE COOL DREAMS FEST
Warm Love Cool Dreams is a new two-day Chicago festival presented by Empty Bottle and held at The Salt Shed on September 28-29. Each day has its own uniquely designed vibe: “Warm Love” is “experimental, fiery, and untamed” while “Cool Dreams” is “inviting or chill tones.” The lineup includes The Jesus Lizard, Kelela, Sextile, Floating Points, and more.
DUTCH INTERIOR
California band Dutch Interior just announced they’ve signed to Fat Possum and they’ll soon be on the road with DIIV and julie.
IVAN CORNEJO
Ivan Cornejo hails from Riverside, California, and he tends to make sad, somber music that pulls from Mexican folk as much it pulls from alternative singer/songwriter stuff like Bon Iver. The 20-year-old artist is gearing up to release his new album Mirada on July 18 via Zaragoza/Interscope, and now he’s announced a US arena/amphitheater tour for this summer and fall.
THEE SACRED SOULS
California’s Thee Sacred Souls just announced their second album, and they’ll be on tour through the fall.
