STEVIE WONDER
Stevie Wonder will soon embark on his “Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart” tour that happens in the lead-up to Election Day, and he’s just added one more show, Chicago’s United Center on November 2. The tour hits NYC at Madison Square Garden on October 10.
YO LA TENGO HANUKKAH 2024
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, Yo La Tengo’s annual Hanukkah Run at Bowery Ballroom.
ALLEGRA KRIEGER / FLORIST
Allegra Krieger has expanded her fall tour with East Coast shows with Florist in November and West Coast dates in December. Before that she’s got shows with Greg Mendez, including Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on October 30.
MASSIVE ATTACK
Massive Attack will be in the US in October for shows in Atlanta, Miami, DC, Boston and NYC (Forest Hills Stadium on 10/24), and they just confirmed that, like in Europe, joining them will be Cocteau Twins’ Elizabeth Fraser, Horace Andy and Young Fathers. They’ve also just announced a show in Liverpool on November 29 which is part of phase 2 of their “ACT 1.5” initiative where they are lowering greenhouse gas emissions at concerts by powering shows with 100% renewable energy and battery power in accordance with the Paris 1.5 climate change agreement. It’s one of three concerts in Liverpool the others are headlined by IDLES (Nov 28) and Nile Rodgers & Chic (Nov 30), and follows Massive Attack’s first ACT 1.5 show in their hometown of Bristol.
“Our recent Bristol show demonstrated beyond question that major live music events can be Paris 1.5 compatible, and that audiences will embrace change enthusiastically,” the band’s 3D (Robert De Naja) says. “The vast scope of work in Liverpool and UN recognition means we can now concentrate more dynamic pilots and experiments to rapidly phase out fossil fuels. This idea and this insistence are not going back in any box. We’re delighted to see artists like Coldplay testing elements like localised ticket pre-sales as recommended in the Tyndall Centre Paris 1.5 decarbonisation road map and encourage other artists to do so freely. The talking stage is over, it’s time to act.”

Jack White’s No Name tour continues and after precision strikes on the East Coast and the UK, he heads to the Pacific Northwest.
BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME
Between the Buried and Me were scheduled to headline a few of their own mini-festivals, A Home Away From Home, in NYC, Asbury Park, and Worcester this weekend, but they’ve pulled out of two of the shows and cancelled the third, due to an “urgent family matter within the band.”
MARK LANEGAN TRIBUTE SHOW
Mark Lanegan would’ve turned 60 later this fall, and around his birthday many of his friends and collaborators — including Greg Dulli, Josh Homme, Dave Gahan, Alison Mosshart and Chrissie Hynde — will be performing at a special tribute show in London.
FLOATING POINTS
Floating Points just released his new album Cascade, and is touring behind it, including a show at NYC’s Knockdown Center.
RX BANDITS
RX Bandits took their 2003 punk-indie-prog-ska classic The Resignation on a 20th anniversary tour last year, and now they’ve announced another round of Resignation dates for early 2025, with support from Zeta, Bad Operation, and Standards, varying by date.
