SLOWDIVE / QUANNNIC
Slowdive will be back in the US for a short Northeast tour starting January 25 and they’ve just announced that joining them will be Quannnic, who also toured with them last year. The tour wraps in the NYC area with shows at Sayreville, NJ’s Starland Ballroom on February 5 and Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre on February 7.
JAPANESE BREAKFAST
Japanese Breakfast announced her first new album in four years, along with North American and European tour dates.
SAMIAM / IRON CHIC / TOYS THAT KILL
Samiam, Iron Chic and Toys That Kill will be teaming up for a short spring Northeast fling, hitting Philly, Brooklyn (The Meadows on 5/16), Boston, and Montreal.
SHALLOWATER
“West Texas dirtgaze” band Shallowater, whose debut album you should check out, will be playing their first NYC show next week. You can also catch them at SXSW in March.
DENZEL CURRY HALLOWEEN SHOW AT RED ROCKS (W FREDDIE GIBBS & EARL SWEATSHIRT)
Denzel Curry will be on tour in support of King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2 starting next month, and he’s announced another big show in the fall after that run wraps up. It’s an exciting one: he’ll play Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Halloween with Freddie Gibbs and Earl Sweatshirt.
ROLLING LOUD CALIFORNIA 2025
The lineup for the 2025 edition of Rolling Loud California includes A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, Peso Pluma, YG, Sexyy Red, and more.

Chris Farren has announced a spring tour with Oceanator and Maura Weaver. The tour kicks off in NYC at TV Eye on May 7 and wraps up may 18 in Montreal.

Seattle trio Deep Sea Diver just announced their first album for Sub Pop, along with an accompanying tour.
YOLA
Singer-songwriter Yola will play NYC’s Greene Space on January 22 for the Grammy Museum’s “A New York Evening” series to celebrate her new EP, My Way. The night includes a discussion moderated by Delisa Shannon and a live performance by Yola.
GRUMPY / PRECIOUS HUMAN / SIDNEY GISH
Grumpy, Precious Human, and Sidney Gish have a joint single coming out on January 15, and they’ll celebrate its release with an intimate Ridgewood show the next night at The Windjammer on January 16.
JULIETTE LEWIS & THE LICKS
Juliette Lewis & The Links are playing an LA show that benefits their bassist Jason Womack’s cancer treatment. The show also features Aeges, H2O and “celebrity jams” featuring members of The Offspring, Chevelle, Eagles of Death Metal and more.
