The Zutons, the Liverpool band who gave us such mid-’00s indie hits as “Pressure Point,” “You Will You Won’t,” “Remember Me,” “Don’t Ever Think (Too Much)” and “Confusion”, have announced their first album in 16 years. It’s titled The Big Decider and will be out April 26 via Deltasonic. The made it with Chic‘s Nile Rodgers and The Lightning Seeds‘ Ian Broadie, who worked on their 2004 Mercury Prize nominated debut Who Killed…… The Zutons?
The first single from the album is “Creeping on the Dancefloor,” which sounds like no time has lapsed since 2008. This one is produced by Nile Rodgers and, no surprise, it’s got a little disco flair a la “Get Down Tonight.” You can watch the video below.
