Luke Jenner brought The Rapture on their first proper tour in 15 years last year, and they have more shows lined up this year, including Coachella, Shaky Knees, and Just Like Heaven. Ahead of those, they’ll play an intimate NYC show tonight (3/31) at Baby’s All Right, where they open for Brutus VIII as “The Buzz.”
In an Instagram story, they write, “Tonight The Rapture is playing five songs at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn under the name “The Buzz.” Because why not.” They add, “The Buzz is the name of one of David Bowie’s first bands. FYI the first Bowie record is pretty fun, the one with Gravedigger on it. A cappella weirdness, behold.”
