UK psych band Temples have announced the Other Structures EP which features six unreleased and remixed tracks from Temples 2014 debut album, Sun Structures, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. It’s out October 4.
The EP includes “Day of Conquest” which was recorded during the album sessions but didn’t make the final thing. “‘Day of Conquest’ was part of the Sun Structures album demos, and it probably would have been on the album, but we ran out of run time on the LP,” singer and guitarist, James Bagshaw, says. “I remember being fond of this song, and it was a pleasant surprise to go back and unearth the sonic layering. I love how the sections contrast in an interesting way, and the fact there isn’t really a chorus!”

Temples will be on tour this fall playing Sun Structures in full, including a NYC show at Racket on October 17 with Alex Henry Foster. All dates are listed below.
