Stereolab have announced 2025 tour dates, including an extensive North American run this fall. “New keyboards and guitars have been purchased,” the latest edition of their Lab Report newsletter says, “and will be put to use on the following dates.” The tour begins September 13 in Nashville and comes to a stop in Dallas on November 2. When dates popped up this morning, many of the East Coast shows were listed on ticket sites with an opener, MEMORIALS, the duo of Verity Susman (Electrelane) and Matthew Simms (Wire, It Hugs Back) who released their fantastic debut album last year. Since then, MEMORIALS have been taken off Ticketmaster and AXS pages and Stereolab say “All support acts are TBC. You can expect a full announcement in the future.” UPDATE: MEMORIALS are indeed opening for Stereolab on the first half of their tour.
The NYC stop on the tour is at Brooklyn Steel on October 1. Tickets for all dates of the North American tour go on sale Friday, February 28 at 10 AM local time.
