Sparta have announced a new album, Cut A Silhouette, due out May 29 via Equal Vision/Dine Alone. It’s their sixth LP and the follow-up to their 2022 self-titled, and it was produced, engineered, and recorded by J. Robbins. “This is a love record,” Jim Ward says. “I want it to leave an impression, and at this point in my career, that’s what I yearn for. I’m working so hard to make something meaningful to me, and I really want people to get a chance to feel it as well.”

The first single, “Crater,” was co-written with Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance, L.S. Dunes), and you can watch the video, directed by Travis Shinn, below.
