Nashville band Snooper have announced their second album, Worldwide, which will be out October 3 via Third Man. They made the album in Los Angeles, working for the first time with an outside producer — specifically John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, Death Cab for Cutie). “The whole idea behind this record was experimentation and change,” the band’s Connor Cummins says.
The first single from Worldwide is its title track, which doesn’t sound like Congleton did much to tame Snooper’s wild hyperactive energy or mix of punk with low-fi laptop electronics. Watch the video below.
