Burlington, VT’s Robber Robber have been around since the dawn of this decade, honing their brand of propulsive indie rock that can be both aggressive and beautiful. The band are back with a new single, “Sea or War,” that’s a little bit of both.
“‘Sea or War’ explores how fine the balance feels between comfort and futility,” the band say. “There are various opposing forces being fused together, which can be felt in the lyrics, musical arrangement, and production.” That production is courtesy of Robber Robber’s Nina Cates and Zack James with studio wiz Benny Yurco (Grace Potter), and the song zooms along an ethereal raceway.
