Emo torch-carriers Prince Daddy & the Hyena have announced a headlining tour with some great, well-matched support coming from Saturdays At Your Place, Riley!, and Carpool. Tickets go on sale Friday (4/5). All dates are listed below.
The tour hits NYC on July 11 at Brooklyn Made, and we’ve got a BrooklynVegan presale beginning Wednesday (4/3) at noon. PASSWORD = BKVEGAN.
Before this tour, Prince Daddy will open the second leg of Motion City Soundtrack‘s I Am The Movie 20th anniversary tour (dates below). The band’s latest album is their great 2022 self-titled LP, and they also contributed to Foxing’s The Albatross: Ten Years, which features covers of The Albatross songs by new-gen emo bands. Last month, singer Kory Gregory released his debut solo album as Jophus.
Saturdays At Your Place are currently on a different great emo package tour, with Arm’s Length, Carly Cosgrove, and Ben Quad. That hits Brooklyn’s Meadows on 4/20.
Carpool just released their great new album My Life In Subtitles on SideOneDummy, and we’ve still got copies of our clear vinyl variant (limited to 100) available.
