The Mosswood Meltdown festival returns to Oakland’s Mosswood Park on July 18 & 19. The lineup for that hasn’t been revealed yet, but this year there will also be a pre-party on Thursday, July 17 which features a pretty killer triple-bill of Pavement, Wednesday and Vivian Girls. (More artists TBA.) Mosswood Meltdown MC John Waters will also be on hand to host the festivities.

If these are the headliners to the pre-party, who’d they get for the actual fest?
This is currently Pavement’s only 2026 show but they seem to be generally available for festivals these days.
Wednesday, meanwhile, will continue to support 2025’s great Bleeds on tour with Gouge Away this spring.
Vivian Girls were recently on their first tour since the pandemic.
