Otoboke Beaver haven’t released a record since 2022’s Super Champion and they’re clearly well aware of that: they’ve got a new maxi single on the way titled “Is The New Album Out Yet?” That’s due out June 10 via Damably and is the band’s final recording with drummer Kahokiss who has retired from the band.
The lead track of the record is “I Don’t Need To Be In Your Strike Zone” and sounds like they’ve been chomping at the bit to get out of the gate and release new music. “Expect the usual chaos,” they say. Watch the video below and let’s hope
Otoboke Beaver are currently on tour in Japan and will be heading worldwide later this year. So far their only North American show is the 2026 edition of Mosswood Meltdown which happens in Oakland, CA on July 18 & 19. All dates are listed below.
