UK synthpop greats OMD were scheduled to begin their 2024 North American tour in September, but they’ve now postponed the shows “due to health issues around the band requiring treatment.” “We are extremely sorry to all those who have made travel plans already,” they write. “It is the first time (outside the pandemic) that we have postponed a tour in our 45 year career, and we would not do so without exhausting all alternative options first.”
The rescheduled shows happen in May, June, and July of 2025, including an NYC show at Terminal 5 on July 8 (previously scheduled for October 10) and a Huntington, NY show at The Paramount on July 6 (previously scheduled for October 12). OMD ON NORTH AMERICAN TOUR POSTPONEMENT
Due to health issues around the band requiring treatment, it is with great regret that we announce our North American tour will be postponed to May/June/July 2025. Your existing tickets will be valid in all the same venues (with the exception of Portland where there is a venue change), just on different dates.

Due to the complications of venue availability, we have not been able to reschedule the St Petersburg show, refunds for this will follow.
The Australian and New Zealand tour in 2025 will not be affected.
