MJ Lenderman‘s highly anticipated new album, Manning Fireworks, is out in September, and he’s announced a fall tour supporting it. Though on some dates recently and coming up he plays solo and with his Wednesday bandmate Karly Hartzman, on these dates he’ll be backed by his band The Wind (who also back him on his beloved 2023 live album Live and Loose!). Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band, whose great 2023 album has been compared to Lenderman, will open all the new shows.
Lenderman’s tour now includes three Nashville shows and multiple nights in some other cities, including two nights at NYC’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on October 25 and 26. UPDATE: He’s added a third night in NYC. All dates are listed below, and tickets go on sale Friday, July 12 at 10 AM local time.

Wednesday (Lenderman included) had their set at day three of Solid Sound cancelled due to storms, but Karly joined Tweedy on “How Hard It Is for a Desert to Die” when the show resumed.
