Michael Kiwanuka will release a new album, Small Changes, on November 15 via Geffen. Once again, he worked with producers Danger Mouse and Inflo on the album, which also features contributions from bassist Pino Palladino (D’Angelo, Beyoncé) and Jimmy Jam of Jam & Lewis.
Small Changes includes “Floating Parade,” which was released earlier this summer, and he’s just shared the two-part “Lowdown,” which features a sweeping string arrangement in its second half and a video directed by Blackwall. Watch that below.
Michael Kiwanuka’s coheadline tour with Brittany Howard kicks off September 25 in Toronto and hits the NYC area for shows at Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on October 2 and SummerStage in Central Park on October 3. All dates, which are with Yasmin Williams, are listed below.
