It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from Marissa Nadler, and she’s announced new tour dates starting at the end of May and running through July. “I’ll be performing solo, playing brand new songs, deep cuts, discog faves and more in a city or town near you this summer,” she says. Jesse Sykes & The Sweet Hereafter, Scout Gillett, Infinity Ring, and Channel Vessel each open select shows, and you can see all dates below.
Marissa will be in New Brunswick, NJ for the NJ International Film Festival, performing at Rutgers’ Voorhees Hall on June 15, and she has an NYC show at TV Eye on July 6, which is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her first album for Sacred Bones, 2014’s July, and is with Infinity Ring and Channel Vessel. Tickets are on sale now.
Marissa also recently appeared at Ghost Train Orchestra and Kronos Quartet’s The Music of Moondog show at Town Hall earlier this month, where she duetted with David Byrne on “High on a Rocky Ledge” and sang “Why Spend A Dark Night With You” with Joan as Police Woman and Karen Mantler.
