Having just released their new album Connection, Marc Ribot’s Ceramic Dog, Marc’s trio with Shahzad Ismaily and Ches Smith, will be back on the road with The Bad Plus this fall for West Coast dates, hitting Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, San Diego, Los Angeles, Denver and more. Once those dates are wrapped up, Ceramic Dog will play a hometown Brooklyn show to celebrate Connection at Public Records on October 24 with special guests TBA.
This weekend Ribot will be at St. Paul, MN’s Lakeside Guitar Festival, including a performances with The Jazz-Bins (Ribot, Greg Lewis, Joe Dyson), and a duo performance with John Medeski.
Marc will also be at Marlboro, VT’s Sonic Circus Music Festival and Big Indian, NY’s Alternative Guitar Summit this month, and he’ll play two shows with John Medeski and Joe Russo at Brooklyn’s The Sultan Room on September 12 (7 PM sold out, but tickets are still available for 10 PM) to benefit the Music Workers Alliance (MWA).
