Salt Lake City festival Kilby Block Party returns for its 6th annual edition on May 15-18 at The Utah State Fairpark. They’re expanding from three to four days for 2025, with music now getting started on Thursday night and continuing through Sunday. New Order headline Thursday, which also features Devo, Future Islands, Yo La Tengo, Teen Suicide, and more.
Beach House are Friday’s headliners, and that day also has Slowdive, Car Seat Headrest, Julien Baker & Torres, Built to Spill, Perfume Genius, Youth Lagoon, The Lemon Twigs, Momma, Hovvdy, Wishy, Been Stellar, and more.
Weezer headline Saturday (performing the Blue Album), and also performing that day are St. Vincent, Toro y Moi, Black Country New Road, Panda Bear, Gang of Four, The Black Angels, George Clanton, Wisp, Ovlov, Bartees Strange, Barrie, Sloppy Jane, Sasami, Friko, Youbet, and more.
Sunday’s header is Justice, and that day also features TV on the Radio, Nation of Language, Tennis, Real Estate, Bôa, Jay Som, Geese, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Vagabon, Frost Children, Nourished by Time, Hannah Frances, and more.
Four-day passes go on sale Wednesday, December 4 at 10 AM MST.
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart announced last year that they’d be reforming for shows in Spain and Portugal to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their debut album. This is their first-announced North American show since 2018, and wrote (hopefully jokingly) on Instagram, “Guys, we *only* play Spain and Salt Lake City.”
