Julien Baker and Torres debuted a couple of songs last month from a new country album they are rumored to have made together, and while we still don’t have any updates on that, the pair have announced their first collaborative shows. They happen at Knoxville festival Big Ears in March, and Charleston, SC’s High Water Music Festival in April.
They’ve also launched a new website, which has a Matador logo and reads “Put a Little Sugar In The Tank.” Julien and Torres also both posted Instagram stories of of them together where they promise “more soon.” Stay tuned!
Julien has been playing multi-night residencies in NYC, Los Angeles, and more, and she has five nights at London’s EartH coming up later this month. Torres, meanwhile, released a collaborative EP with Fruit Bats in June, and a new album of her own, What An Enormous Room, in January.
