After breaking up in 2009, beloved hardcore band Have Heart have done a few brief reunion runs over the past few years (most recently in 2024), and now they’ve revealed another one. Following the announcement of the 2027 edition of Netherlands’ Revolution Rising Fest, which they’re on the lineup for, they’ve announced a handful of new US shows this fall, happening in Boston (Middle East Upstairs on October 23 and Big Night Live on October 24), Oklahoma City (Flyover Fest on November 7), and Los Angeles (Ukrainian Cultural Center on December 18 and The Belasco on December 19). Full lineups and tickets are out on Wednesday, July 1 at 12 PM local.
“Twenty years ago Have Heart put out a record we didn’t think would really be cared for beyond our small circle of friends in the Boston HC scene,” Patrick Flynn writes. “Who heard it didn’t really matter. We just knew we had to get the feelings in our bones out and into the world in some way. Writing and playing The Things We Carry around the world eternally changed my life and we’d like to play it (and other tracks) to some more people this Fall. Thank you to everyone over the years who has helped us feel like the simple act of creating music really matters. Hope to see you out there. Peace & love.”
Flynn is also busy with Fiddlehead, who just released a new EP, Baby I’ll Change, on Friday, and will be on tour this summer.
