Phoenix shoegazers Glixen have been preparing to release their sophomore EP this year, and now they’ve announced quiet pleasures, due out February 21 via AWAL (digitally) and Wichita Recordings (vinyl). It’s the follow-up to their 2023 debut EP She Only Said, and they’ve shared a new single, “lick the star,” which you can hear below. “This song is special,” bandleader Aislin Ritchie says, “it begins with a mellow sonic bath of an intro and explodes into a whirling wall of sound and melody.”
Glixen are on the recently announced Coachella lineup, and they’ve announced their first-ever headlining tour ahead of the festival. It starts in Las Vegas on February 21 and includes shows with she’s green and Suzy Clue, varying by date. See all dates below.
