Philly shoegazers Creepoid broke up after playing a final hometown show at Union Transfer in early 2018, and two of the members since relocated to Austin, where they formed the hardcore band Mugger, but now Creepoid are back! Almost exactly seven years since their final show, they’ll return to Union Transfer on February 15, 2025 with support from Full Body 2 and Halloween. For the show, singer/guitarist Sean Miller, singer/bassist Anna Troxell, and drummer Patrick Troxel will be joined by Drab Majesty’s Andrew Clinco on second guitar.
Tickets go on sale Friday (10/25) at noon with various presales beforehand. The Philly date is their only scheduled show at the moment, but fingers crossed for more!
2025 also marks the 10th anniversary of Creepoid’s third and final album, Cemetery Highrise Slum, which came out on Collect Records just months before the label shuttered, and which hasn’t been available on streaming services for almost a decade. Along with the reunion announcement, Creepoid have finally brought the album back to streaming and put out a previously-unreleased video for its song “Shaking.” Check that out below.
