Cold Court are a new-ish Philly band who make chaotic rock music that they say was inspired by the likes of Death Grips, The Mars Volta, OutKast and Blonde Redhead. They’ve opened for black midi, Lip Critic, and others, and they have upcoming shows opening for Deerhoof in Philly (Underground Arts on 10/2) and Geese in Brooklyn (Music Hall of Williamsburg on 12/6). They’ve already built up a reputation as a powerful live band, and today they’ve released their debut single, “Twin.” It’s paired with a vinyl-only track on a double A-side 12″.
