Cass McCombs has announced a new album, Interior Live Oak, due out on August 15 via Domino. He worked on it with a few early Bay Area collaborators, including Papercuts’ Jason Quever and Chris Cohen, and also recorded in NY, where he worked with Matt Sweeney and Mike Bones. Interior Live Oak includes McCombs’ March single “Priestess,” which he also performed for an NPR Tiny Desk Concert, and he’s shared another new single, the breezy “Peace.” Watch the accompanying video below.
McCombs has European tour dates lined up in the fall, including shows with Father John Misty, followed by a few California shows in September, one of which is with MJ Lenderman and Nap Eyes. See all dates below.
