Riot grrrl icons Bratmobile reunited over the summer for their first public shows in over 20 years, at Oakland, CA’s Mosswood Meltdown (and an intimate warm up at Zebulon right before), and now they’ve announced their first NYC show since 2002. It happens on April 27 at Warsaw and it’s with Downtown Boys and cumgirl8. You can get tickets early on BrooklynVegan Presale with the password BRATBV starting Thursday, January 25 at 10 AM ET. Our presale runs through 10 PM, and if you miss out, tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 26 at 10 AM.
The NYC show is a month before Bratmobile play Punk Rock Bowling, and both will have vocalist Allison Wolfe and drummer Molly Neuman joined by Rose Melberg (Tiger Trap, the Softies) on guitar; Audrey Marrs (Mocket, Bratmobile 2.0 live) on keys; and Marty Key (Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, Steady Sounds, Young Pioneers) on bass.
Allison will also be a tour guide at Las Vegas’ Punk Rock Museum on March 1-3, along with Alice Bag. Tickets are on sale.
