The Bouncing Souls are bringing their ‘Home for the Holidays’ shows back in honor of The Stone Pony turning 50, and they’ve got great lineups each night, with Strike Anywhere, Tim Barry (of AVAIL), and Gimme Drugs on December 28; Dave Hause & the Mermaid, The Ratchets, and Seaside Caves on December 29; and The Pietasters, Lifetime/Minor Threat/Bouncing Souls supergroup Beach Rats, and The Kilograms on December 30. The band says:
Home For The Holidays was such a huge part of our lives for nine years until we transitioned our annual Asbury Park celebration from a December to July, with the creation of Stoked For The Summer. We wrapped up our Home For The Holidays run after nine amazing (although sometimes snowy) years. With 2024 marking the 50th Anniversary of the Stone Pony, we thought it would be the perfect time to bring it back for a special 10th edition. Join us December 28th-30th at the Stone Pony, where we’ll be joined by some of our dearest friends and family.
Tickets (including a three-day pass option) go on presale Thursday (10/10) at 10 AM and the general public on-sale is Saturday (10/12) at 10 AM. They also have after parties, art events, and more events TBA, so stay tuned for that. Check out the poster below.
The Bouncing Souls also have other dates coming up, including four album plays across two sets at The Fest and Dropkick Murphys‘ 2025 St. Patrick’s Day shows in Boston.
See The Bouncing Souls and Strike Anywhere both featured in our list of essential melodic punk & hardcore albums of the early 2000s.
