Between the Buried and Me were scheduled to headline a few of their own mini-festivals, A Home Away From Home, in NYC, Asbury Park, and Worcester this weekend, but they’ve pulled out of two of the shows, and cancelled the third, due to an “urgent family matter within the band.” “We send our sincerest apologies to the promoters, the venues, he bands, and most importantly our fans,” they write. “Canceling shows is an absolute last resort for us, but sometimes situations arise that demand our presence at home with our families. We love you all, and appreciate your support and understanding.”
The Asbury Park show has been cancelled, but the NYC show at The Brooklyn Monarch on Friday (9/27) and the Worcester show at The Palladium on Saturday (9/28) will go ahead with the rest of the bill, which includes Hail the Sun (playing their 2014 album Wake in full), Sweet Pill, A Lot Like Birds, Andrés, Moondough, Zeta, Cryptodira, Lobby Boxer, and Common Sage. NYC is also with The Number 12 Looks Like You.
