Las Vegas’ second-wave-emo-centric festival Best Friends Forever returns for its second annual edition on October 10-12 at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, and they’ve broken down the lineup by day, and announced single day tickets.
Friday is headlined by Minus the Bear (playing Menos el Oso for its 20th anniversary) and also features Mineral (farewell show), Cursive (their first of two sets, playing Domestica), Bear vs. Shark (playing Terrorhawk), Superchunk, Rival Schools, Narrow Head, Knapsack, Kind of Like Spitting, Snowing, Speedy Ortiz, Prize Horse, and Crochet.
Jawbreaker headlines Saturday, and also performing are Texas is the Reason (reunion set), Pedro the Lion (30th anniversary set), Pretty Girls Make Graves, J. Robbins plays Burning Airlines, Hey Mercedes, Tigers Jaw, Oakwood, Pity Sex, Midrift, Knumears, February, and awakebutstillinbed.
Jimmy Eat World close out the festival on Sunday, with a set billed as “including songs from their seminal album Clarity plus others rarely heard in their live shows.” Sunday also features Rilo Kiley, Cursive (their second set of the weekend, playing The Ugly Organ), Marietta, Wednesday, The Appleseed Cast, Mates of State, Penfold (first show in years), Elliott, These Arms are Snakes, Ozma, Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate), and Tiger Bike.
Single day tickets go on sale Thursday, July 10 at 10 AM PDT.
