The Festival of Independence made its return to South Street Seaport for two days this past holiday weekend, bringing loads of live free music to the busy tourist area on Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4.

Sunday was slightly smaller, with just the Noisey Stage on Fulton Street. It featured local indie rockers Public Access TV, as well as New Zealand’s Yumi Zouma — who recently released their debut LP Yoncalla — as well as Brooklyn’s own Porches followed, with Wild Nothing headlining. The second day of the fest was split between the Noisey stage, featuring Lee Fields and the Expressions, D.R.A.M., Phony PPL and more, and the Peck Slip Stage with Woods, The Mystery Lights, The Lemon Twigs and more. A few Instagrams from Monday are also below.
