While his brother Liam alternately says “fuck Oasis” and then tells the press he’d like to get the band back together, Noel Gallagher seems quite content leading his own band, the High Flying Birds. Still touring off last year’s very good Chasing Yesterday, he hit NYC’s Beacon Theatre on Tuesday night (7/5). Gallagher has no problem playing his old band’s hits, either, as Beacon got “Wonderwall,” “Champagne Supernova,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Fade Away” and half a dozen more.
