Watch Olivia Rodrigo bring out Weezer at Lollapalooza

Lollapalooza weekend continues in Chicago (and at home, if you’re streaming it live), and Olivia Rodrigo headlined night 2 on Friday (8/1). It was her first time headlining the festival, and towards the end of her set she brought out Weezer to join her on renditions of their Blue Album hits “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So.” Watch that below.

Olivia introduced Weezer by asking the Lollapalooza crowd if it was anyone’s first concert, saying, “you always remember your first concert. Very, very special moment. I remember my first concert. It was a very memorable night. I watched this incredible band and I am so over the moon because that incredible band is actually here tonight to play a few songs. Will you please say hello to Weezer?”

Weezer aren’t the only special guest Olivia has invited to the stage recently – she brought out The Cure’s Robert Smith at Glastonbury, David Byrne at Governors Ball, and Ed Sheeran in London. She also covered Fontaines D.C. in Dublin.
