It’s become a Brooklyn tradition, having Sun Ra Arkestra play Union Pool’s free Summer Thunder series, and that continued on Sunday. Bandleader Marshall Allen is 99 but remains their skronky spark, whether conducting the Arkestra or playing sax and his signature electronic valve instrument.
