German thrash legends Sodom just returned to the US for some rare shows, including their first NYC show in 18 years: Brooklyn Monarch on October 9. They played a set that leaned most heavily on their ’80s/early ’90s material, and the show had even more ’80s thrash goodness from NJ’s Whiplash and California’s Hirax. Newer thrashy NYC band Stress Angel provided local support.
