Real Estate released their excellent sixth album last week, Daniel, and celebrated with a couple of intimate NYC events. They played a “Daniels Only” show at Brooklyn’s Union Pool on Thursday, and then on release Friday they stopped by Rough Trade for an in-store acoustic performance and record signing. The band mixed songs from the new album and a few older favorites, and ended things with their cover of Elton John’s “Daniel.”

Real Estate’s North American tour starts Wednesday in San Francisco and hits NYC at Webster Hall on April 18.
