King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard kicked off the North American leg of their 2024 world tour last month. It includes three-hour marathon sets in some cities, and after a pair of those in NYC, they brought another super-sized set to Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on Sunday (9/1). While the setlist, which you can see below, pulled from all over their 26-LP discography, 2017’s Murder of the Universe emerged as a particular focus of the night, with the band playing “Welcome to an Altered Future” for the first time since 2018.
